Israel Part I- Transforming fiction to reality

It has been way too long since I’ve gone on a vacation with my family, and even longer since I’ve updated my blog. To be honest, I was quite hesitant to go on this trip, since it will be a family trip, without my man, and I’ve lost touch with my bible stories. This trip will thus, bring those stories alive.

On the road: Western Australia

At last I am able to sit down to type this post. It has been overdue for about 2 weeks. Back from a long hiatus, only to realise WordPress’s format has changed again?? Why can’t I move my pictures anymore? Copy and pasting can be quite a pain in the ass.

After my last trip to Australia, I could not wait to go back again. So my man and I decided to get tickets to Perth, Western Australia. And since he could not get enough of long distance driving, this trip will solely be the two of us with him as the driver. It has been too long since we had a trip just the two of us.

Spending Valentine’s Day with cats

After all the commotion of the day before, I wasn’t expecting very much for Valentines’. My man giving me a pebble (a shiny one) to signify his love (ya know, like penguins), was more than anything I can ask for. So after having lunch with my mum and uncles, I was quite surprised that he has booked a table for dinner. But, before that, we had some time to kill. We decided to make our way down to The Cats Museum, located at Purvis Street. Finding a parking lot was quite a hassle, but it was really worth it.

Khao Lak,Similans Islands LOB, Phuket

I’ve just gotten back from a holiday, and i’m suffering from terrible withdrawal symptoms. For some unknown reason, WordPress seemed to have changed their formatting. Can’t say that I’m digging it though.

Anyway, since this was planned this trip with a bunch of divers, its no doubt we will plan this trip centered around diving! Of course, me being a shutterbug, and my other girls being photographers, brace yourself for lotsa photos! This is also gonna be a reeeaalllyy long post.

Boracay: Paradise Found 27Nov- 3rd December 2013

Please excuse my procrastination. I am being held up by school work and Team Fortress 2(whoever plays this, please comment and add me!). Here is the very much awaited Boracay post.

I remember, 2 weeks before I’m bound for Boracay,Typhoon Haiyan hit Philippines. I, like every other traveler, was worried out of my mind on what will become of my trip, since it was on the news that the typhoon did, indeed hit Boracay. I checked Tripadvisor several times, refreshing the page every 5 minutes to see updates on what the other travelers(who were already there) wrote about the situation. I also wrote several emails to the resort that I’m staying, and the staff have been really reassuring, telling me that they have not been really affected except for power outages.

I decided to just YOLO (with wit, since I bought travel insurance just in case. I don’t usually have the habit to buy travel insurance since I would rather spend those extra moolahs on the trip itself.) and go ahead with my trip.

PADI Open Water Certification 11-13 July 2014

What a start to the new year!

I wish I can charm you by saying how magical the new year has been with the champagnes and the parties that will make Katy Perry blush, but no, I have to fall gravely ill, sort of.  A fever that wouldn’t go away, a throat that itches and yet hurts with every cough, and a nose that can never decide if it wants to get stuck or start running. I shall not get into the off-putting description, but if you are interested……….

email me, and I will give you up to the tiniest detail. Nah, I’m joking.

(I’m serious, email me)
