Unbelievable Honeymoon – Part I

It’s been a few weeks since I got back from my honeymoon, and to be honest, I’m still high from it. It has been nothing short of amazing and who better to be there with than my incredible, now dubbed #instahubby!

Coming back to reality after a holiday has always been bad but man…….. after an incredible few weeks plus the jet lag, it’s pure torture. With a 15 days itinerary, I will be cutting the entire journey into several parts (which I realised has become quite a tradition with my travel posts).

After the smooth sailing wedding, read all about it here, we spent the month before our honeymoon being busy bees, clearing as much of our work, as well as doing last minute shopping and booking of activities. The trip cannot come sooner. Before we knew it, we were at the airport saying goodbye to our families; excited about the adventure that awaits us.

On the road: Western Australia

At last I am able to sit down to type this post. It has been overdue for about 2 weeks. Back from a long hiatus, only to realise WordPress’s format has changed again?? Why can’t I move my pictures anymore? Copy and pasting can be quite a pain in the ass.

After my last trip to Australia, I could not wait to go back again. So my man and I decided to get tickets to Perth, Western Australia. And since he could not get enough of long distance driving, this trip will solely be the two of us with him as the driver. It has been too long since we had a trip just the two of us.

Saving Belle Part 2

So here’s an update of Belle so far from where we last left off.

It turned out that the SGD$3K kindly contributed by CAS to Belle was not enough, as the total cost of surgery plus hospitalisation amounted up to SGD10K, which means there is still SGD7K which still needs to be paid. That is an astronomical sum for us! Thankfully, Noah’s Ark CARES (another animal welfare group in Singapore) decided to take up Belle’s case, and before we know it, Belle is being whisked off to surgery.
